AMT maintains an in-house staff of engineers with broad technical backgrounds who are trained in many disciplines. We use computerized CADD programs to serve our customers' needs efficiently.

Our design and engineering staff is thoroughly experienced in applying AMT's unique modular and tilt-wall techniques to fit a variety of construction and imaging requirements.

AMT's design personnel are available to develop new architectural concepts as well as to adapt existing designs to new and different applications.

Our engineering staff develops the required facility detailing on every project. They are thoroughly versed in adapting original designs to fit each new location requirement for national and regional programs. AMT's engineering department can seal permit drawings in all the contiguous United States and provinces in Canada.

The ability to understand our customers' building and image requirements and translate them into practical, cost-efficient solution is the primary role of our design and engineering staff. This function requires close coordination between design/engineering personnel and our purchasing, estimating, and manufacturing planning departments. To facilitate this coordination, AMT has located all of these functions at its headquarters in Liberty, NC.
